Vinyl Numbers for Chinese takeaway.
A regular customer of ours ordered a quantity of stick on numbers for putting onto his menu price list. He ordered them 25mm high in a tomato red gloss colour in a font called VAG. The customer ordered approximately 500 numbers and we charged him for the material used + time taken instead of charging the price per character. We can only do this with certain fonts that weed easily and where there is little time spent on typesetting on the computer.
The numbers were cut in blocks of 10 of each numeral which were supplied on a silicon backing sheet with application tape mounted onto the face of the numbers which was used to help apply them onto the sign.
We supplied approximately 1400mm of material with the numbers cut out and we charged the customer less than it would usually cost per numeral. http://www.arro-signs.co.uk/vinyl-lettering.htm
