Coloured moulded letters are made from 3mm thick cast acrylic sheet which is heated up in an oven and then vacuum formed over  solid wood composite forms. The waste from the formed shape is then sliced off with a very large bandsaw or similar machine.

The back of the letters are then cleaned up with a knife to take off the swarf. Stud fixings are then glued onto the back of the letters using a welding glue which melts both the letter and the fixing together.

A computer plotter is then used to draw the shape of the letters on paper or it will be done manually by placing the letters on a roll of paper. the letters are then pressed onto the paper, the stud fixings on the back of the letters leave a mark on the paper which allows us to mark where the fixings are located.

The letters are then checked and packed, the cup fixings are counted out and packed up with the letters and the layout and then sent by business post or similar delivery company.

Metal capital letter ‘E’ made from 2mm stainless steel, brushed finish. A san serif font named Arial. The letter ‘E’ was part of a larger order and was supplied with brass locators and paper template.

Stainless Steel letters for an office block in the town of Poole, England. The letters were 300mm high with 50mm returns built up and they had blue LED in the back. The customer arranged fitting.

Brass plaques are made to order to your requirements. We engraved our plaques and chemical etch them depending on the job. If the plaques has a logo on it we usually etch it, we engrave the plaques when text is required. Most brass plaques have a black infill. Letters and logos can be of any colour fill, though black works best.

Plaques can be supplied with a hardwood timber base if requested.
